We have rated this guest house a 4+ Star Rating this is because it is rated 4 stars with both the Scottish Tourist Board AND the AA. We believe that Grimisdale is the Only 4star in the area. However this is not the only reason. If you take the time to visit their site you will see the incredible reviews and comments made by guests. The hosts are well known for their hospitality and willingness to help you enjoy your stay. We think that Grimisdale House is, by far, the best place to stay on South Harris beating all the opposition including the local Hotel - Scarista House which was famous throughout the 1980's and 90's for it's excellence and writings of the owner (ownership of Scarista House has now changed and, in our opinion, so has the service etc.).
