Hotels On South Uist
South Uist is slightly larger than North Uist both in size and population. Situated off the west coast of Scotland in a group of islands known as the Outer Hebrides (or Western Isles) the island is similar to the other islands in the group so far as the geography and geology goes but is somewhat different in the culture. South Uist is Gaelic speaking but is mainly Roman Catholic, whereas North Uist, Harris & Lewis are mostly Protestant, with this in mind you may find this part of the Hebrides a little more relaxed in such things as Sunday openings. Below you will find our listings of South Uist hotel accommodation.
