Breeds in cultivated country, commonly but in single pairs. Wary, well used to man. Easily recognised by grey and black plumage. In habits resembles Carrion Crow, with which it often associates and also interbreeds where the two races meet. Flight fairly listless and lazy, wingbeats steady and quite shallow.
