Hebridean Art by David J. Greenall

David J. Greenall was born in 1947 in Prescot, Lancashire. He graduated from Winchester School of Art in 1986. The work is made using traditional techniques of hand made colours. Beginning with small studies in pencil and watercolour, these studies are then developed into larger works using tempera and oil. Since moving to the Western Isles in 1991 he has made paintings of the light, landscape and coastline. Works are in Public and Private collections world-wide.
