Simon Rivett (b. 1961) moved to Lewis in 1993. He is a 1984 graduate of London's Goldsmith College. A painter whose methods are often forceful and exploratory and leave a varied surface to his pictures. Drawing has always been central to his work allowing the isolation to revel in and reveal a unique landscape.
