Leverburgh's original village hall was built in the early 1960's and was only meant to be temporary. Over the years there were many alterations made and the building served the community until sufficient funding was raised to build a new one.
Our new hall (pictured above, click to enlarge) was officially opened on September 11th 2002 by The Earl and Countess of Wessex. Below and on the next page are some photographs of the event, which was enjoyed by all who attended. (click image to view larger version).
