Message: I was looking at your page on Maxwell and have every sympathy with the people in whose midst he is living. However I don't think the interests of the community or your website are served by linking to Noncewatch which is a neo-Nazi hate site that as well as targetting "nonces", targets political activists and ordinary trades unionists. A female friend of mine, who has been to demonstrations against the BNP, has had her photograph and address published on the site. Is this normal behaviour of people who profess concern about young children?
Noncewatch and Redwatch are run by a Mr Ian Gomeche and further details about this "gentleman" can be found at http://www.gomechewatch.com *Please read below [Ed.]
I urge you to consider removing the link to Noncewatch.
Webmaster comments: - Mmmm well we were pretty desperate for help and our plight called for desperate measures. I am sure that these guys helped and for that I am grateful. I have had to remove your message from the guestbook but have placed it here and I would hope that you would be content with this arrangement. Thanks for your comments but I felt it was not suitable for the guestbook - maybe an email to us may have been more suitable?
*Recent development: After several months of this page being here and informing both parties at the time, Mr Gomeche has chosen us as his next target. We have suffered continual unsolicited emails from this man after several requests that he stops. He has even contacted neighbours! We tried to get some sense of his complaint but he refuses to answer just offering abuse in return. I have studied his most recent mail and all I can see is that he objects to the statement above that he owns Noncewatch and Redwatch!
While it may be that he does not own these domains - it is clear that he has VERY STRONG ties to these sites and is privy to confidential material belonging to those sites. He even has copies of mail that we sent to those sites !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While it would appear the simple solution would be to remove all traces of all these sites from here, it is clear from correspondence that this would not stop the hate campaign from this man.
I suspect that his main objection is that pages on the Virtual Hebrides feature high in search engine returns. Obviously certain searches for sites that are associated with Mr Gomeche will bring up this page which in turn points to http://www.gomechewatch.com
We contacted all parties suggesting the removal but we had no reply! We are therefore leaving this page up as we believe that anyone dealing with these parties should be forewarned of the inherent dangers.
