I believe my grandparents came
from Scalpay,my grandfathers name was james cunningham
and i am trying to research my ancestors on my fathers
side of the family,if anyone could help i would be most
grateful,i remember being told his family were involved
in the fishing industry on scalpay, but i have no proof
that this is correct.if you think you may have any information
which may help please contact me.

I have just found your site and
enjoy it very much.I hope your detractors see the light
of day and leave you alone and let you bould your site.I
am in the process of researching my ancestory and came
upon your site.In expanding your site,it would be nice
to see a short history of the names of Scotland and
links to other sites to help proud Scots research their
history.Thank you.

hours of browsingon it.I love the historical aspect.
Cannot understand who would object. Hope you will expand
to include other information.

What was the reasoning for the
protests? Guests signing the guest book on Sundays?

I am so pleased to see the site
is back up and running and I sincerely hope that temporary
will turn out to be permanent !!!!!
I think it is true to say we only appreciate what we
have, when it is taken away from us. This site has been
missed by so many during its abscence, just as the island
itself is missed, by all those who are not able to see
the island that means so much to them, except in distant
precious memories.
May this excellent site continue to flourish.
Best Regards
Seumas

I love sheep and mountains and
I cannot understand why a website run by aficionados
of such things should be closed down.
Ps. I quite like cows too!

I am astounded to read that a
few select individuals with an abysmal lack of brain
material have caused your brilliant website to shut
down. I cannot express my profound anger over this incident
enough. Kelly, you have something so amazingly beautiful
in exsistence and for someone to ruin it is purely,
unequivically EVIL! Oh, for shame!!! I entreat you to
keep the site and to be strong when we all know it's
easier to be weak. God bless you and your toil!
