As
he prepared to travel south to Leverburgh to chair last
night's protest meeting, he sounded a note of defiance
to mainlanders who passed their value judgements on
the islanders lifestyle. "We've been told we need
to become more enlightened, but as far as I am concerned,
it
is others who fail to realise that it is our way of
life that is enlightened.
Leading
