To the Left is an example of the walled gardens that were used to produce wide and varied crops for the lighthouse keepers. The walled areas were essential to protect the crops from the biting winds that pound the area.
The beach area is often littered with various items washed up by the sea, it is amazing some of the things you find.

Some of the views from this area are outstanding. Here, in the distance, you can see the Shant Isles.
Once past the beach area you start the climb up to the lighthouse passing the jetty on the right where supplies were landed.

Slightly up from the jetty is a hut which I assume was used for storage.
