She is well known for her books on walking in Majorca and has a particular love of the Western Isles of Scotland. The book has clearly laid out walks that are both interesting and challenging. Included is a walk around the Isle of Scalpay which is about 12 km with 230m ascent. The book gives a little information which is now out of date.
