The Hebrides are an amazing place to visit. There are many historic sites and an incredible selection of long golden beaches. Throughout the year there are various festivals and exhibitions and lots more to keep you interested. Most of the information below is relevant to the Western Isles / Outer Hebrides but you will find it of some use if visiting another area of the Hebrides.
