The
Hebrides - Do you want to learn about
the Inner and Outer Hebrides? The Virtual Hebrides is
a community website about the The Inner and Outer Hebrides. Are you planning a holiday
in the Outer Hebrides if so you will find details
on the various parts of the islands (such as
the enormous Scalpay section) go to our "Location"
section.
It
is hoped that we will be able to continue developing
the Virtual Hebrides but we need the support
of people like yourself. You may have an old
magazine article, an old photograph or just
an interesting story to tell about the Hebrides.
If you would like to contribute some material
to this website please contact us as soon as
possible.
We
hope that you enjoy your visit to the Virtual
Hebrides but there is no real substitute for
the real thing, so please take a look at some
of the accommodation on offer and consider a
"real" visit to the Outer Hebrides
/ Western Isles.
If
you are based in the Inner or Outer Hebrides you can have your details listed on The
Virtual Hebrides for FREE,
that includes as many photographs as you wish
to provide (within reason!). If you are a photographer
why not submit a photograph of an area in the
Hebrides with a little text and we will place
a link to your website below each picture. Are
you working on a school project about the area
and would like to see it published? Just email
us with the details and we will be in
touch.
To continue to be able to offer these free services for the Hebrides it has become neccessary for us to put advertising on the site (as traffic increases so do our costs, so please accept our apologies if this annoys you). You can support us by clicking on a couple of these ads, purchasing a book or one of our other products such as the item below.
